With a public boat launch just on the outskirts of St. Georges on the north east side. This is a great spot to put in and explore the Maskwa River, see the Maskwa Project from the water and maybe stop in to see what it is all about? A quiet and relatively narrow river the Maskwa is great for sight seeing and wildlife sightings. If fish are what you are after, explore this section of the Winnipeg River between Powerview-Pinefalls and Great Falls Power stations. With opportunity to catch Sauger, Walleye, Catfish or Perch and if you are real lucky a SmallMouth Bass or two.
